The Result

100% of participants expressed that they could complete tasks faster. The wellness plan is organized in a way that makes it easy to follow instructions, take action, and add recommended products to the cart.

The Problem

Research has shown that the most crucial information for members is the personalized plan developed by doctors and dietitians. This plan includes comprehensive instructions on the optimal time to take supplements, prescription orders, and a nutrition plan to follow. However, the instructions are difficult to understand, the chart is confusing, and there is no easy way to add prescription orders to the cart.

User Testing

I tested early concepts using low-fidelity rapid prototyping. I wanted to validate workflows and understand the importance of the wellness plan.

Hypothesis

We believe that separating the information of doctors and dietitians would make it easier for members to find information and follow instructions.

Because they [providers] look at different things and sometimes I’ll be, what was it that Gracie said...she recommended something specific. So this would make it a little clearer on how to get to it a little bit faster

Testing Key Takeaways

Being Flexible with Change

Due to development efforts and business constraints, the decision has prioritized adding products to the cart over redesigning the wellness plan. The wellness plan will be backlogged for development until version 2.

Solution - Quick Add Experience

The initial idea was to include a search feature, but the interaction was too complex. The intention of adding more supplements is not to replace or change the shopping experience. The hypothesis is that members already know what they want and, to match that goal, the quick add experience provide an easy experience for adding last minute products to their wellness supplements list.
